Our university is one of the country’s oldest educational institutions; since 1538, it has carried out its teaching and educational mission with Reformed Christian commitment and to the highest academic standards, while continuously responding to the challenges of the modern age. Our secular programs offer training for aspiring teachers and specialized further education for practicing educators, while our faith-based programs prepare students for church service and a life as Christian intellectuals—all in the spirit of our creed: “Community, Faith, Knowledge.”
